Idea
Put your cursor on a corner, click and drag. The box resizes to where your mouse is.
So clicking and dragging
Like the message boxes in windows
Already started with that, I think you read the changelog just now :P

So being able to choose red Outside, yellow Lab, green Lab, and pink Warp Zone in one room and being able to switch easily between them?

Sure, a per-room tileset favorite list wouldn't be a bad idea.

There's a manual tile placement mode... Or do you mean making it so you can draw with automatic mode while not having the whole room in the same tileset?

Probably pretty easy, I'll see if it works out.

Another possible idea...?

Input box that let's you enter an image link

Then that image is positioned on tiles2 or tiles1

You can choose which sprites to replace with the image

So making custom sprite sheets is easier

Dav, i have an idea for a feature.

You could add an option to load tiles1/2.png from a different area because I'm using a texture-pack-thing for my level and the custom tiles just show up as the white boxes when editing in Ved, and that makes it kinda hard to use meh tiles in it without memorising which ones are where.

just a suggestion

If it detects tiles1/2.png in the VVVVVV\graphics directory, then Ved will already load that automatically.
